We invite you to join us at our 3rd annual gala–a very special event in support of our effort to share, celebrate, and preserve veterans’ stories through our many live storytelling programs and our Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh Oral History Project, which records, preserves and shares the stories of our region’s veterans.
Since 2008, the Veterans Breakfast Club has hosted over 5,000 different people at 300 storytelling events. They come to listen and to learn, to share and to heal, and to say thank you to those
who’ve served. Our Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh Oral History Project has captured over 800 veteran interviews and thousands of photos and documents, which we’re archiving and sharing through our website.
Western Pennsylvania is home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country. From Pearl Harbor and Bastogne to Fallujah and Kandahar, our region’s veterans have served on every
battlefront of the past 75 years. Their stories are our history. We lose thousands of our veterans every year, and their stories pass with them. We need to capture and preserve these stories
before it’s too late.
Donations to the Veterans Breakfast Club help us continue our storytelling mission, oral history project, and to welcome more veterans to our events regardless of their ability to pay. The Veterans Breakfast Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible, and copies of our IRS determination letter and form 990 are available upon request.
